Scotty and I have had a crazy summer working on the house, so when I realized that we had travel vouchers we had to use by the end of the month, we decided a trip to San Francisco was in order. We had a blast, and were shameless tourists. We started in Chinatown...
And decided to head back later that evening...
Because we wanted to eat sushi that was delivered in a boat!
The next morning we went to Alcatraz.
This is one of the jail cells inside of the cellhouse.
We took the audio tour...
And of course pretended we were inmates.
We also took our picture with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Ignore the wild hair, it was a bit windy.
Our next stop was Fisherman's Wharf,
Then a ride on the cable cars.
for some amazing ice cream with hot fudge sauce!
Work didn't stop completely in our absence thank goodness, the brick in the front of our house is complete.
