It's been too long since I've posted! We had a wonderful Christmas in Seattle. We missed our normal routine of going to Colorado to spend Christmas with Scott's family, but luckily my parents decided to stay in Seattle so we had our first Christmas with them in years. We headed up to Crystal for New Years with the normal crew up there. We keep forgetting to bring our camera to the mountain, and this weekend would have been the best opportunity, it was sunny, beautiful, and almost 50 degrees!
I have a handful of house pictures to post: We ordered these sconces back in August, and they finally showed up.
We had originally decided not to carpet the basement right away to ensure that it was floodproof. With the amount of rain we've had recently, we were sure that it was okay to move forward with carpet. Here's the 'before' picture.

The most exciting thing that happened to our house in the last month is that it passed inspection! Scott was really nervous but we didn't have any problems. It's a beautiful house, I'm so blessed!
