Scott boarded up the windows to keep the crazy's out (most importantly, our crazy neighbor). Doesn't it look like a drug den?
The contractors had to jackhammer holes in the basement floor for new footings. This will help reinforce the house for the second story. The footings were inspected by the city of Seattle and approved. Yay!
Since we're reconfiguring the first floor as well, the contractors removed all of the walls. The hole in the floor is where the stairs to the basement used to be.
Our house without siding, walls, flooring, etc. Thank goodness we aren't living there!
