Halloween and Westport

We had a few friends over to help with the trick-o-treaters on Halloween. Buddy was superdog, and Scotty put on his superman t-shirt to get into the spirit.
Oliver stopped by to show us his golfer's costume. Mike was his daddy caddy.

I think these two are going to rule the world. Ha!
My other little friend Aaron put on his dragon costume as well. Such a cutie.

This past weekend some friends invited us to spend the weekend with them in Westport on the Washington coast. The news reported that there would be 30 foot swells, but we made the trip anyways. We normally go clamming while we're there, but usually we're clamming in mud, not in two feet of water.
Then the thunder and lightening rolled in, and we got WET. After a 30 minutes we were soaked to the bone and only had 5 clams. Oh well.

We normally let Buddy swim while we're there, but this time it was too dangerous. These huge logs kept washing up on the beach.
I think this picture is cool...you can almost tell how stormy it was out there...

After our failed clamming attempt we went into town to buy some crab, and realized that all of Westport had come downtown to watch the waves crash into the seawall. It was a pretty spectacular sight.

Downtown Westport was underwater.

Checking out the waves from the whale watching tower...
