Scotty and I went to Colorado last weekend to see our friends Travis and Christi get married. First we we went to Salida to see Mike and Jane. We went on a lovely hike to an alpine lake.
My favorite part about Colorado in the summer is the afternoon storms with lightening and thunder. This year Colorado has had an unseasonably warm spring/summer creating terrible wildfires. We weren't close to any of the fires thank goodness, but I was still able to see a lightening bolt or two.
Travis and Christi, the happy couple! Scott and Travis were roommates in college, and we all taught skiing together in Crested Butte.
