Aspen

Our whirlwind September continued with a last minute trip to Aspen to watch our friend Dave get married. I'm not sure if it was because of our travel exhaustion or the bright Colorado sunshine but my pictures aren't great. Here they are anyways!

Right before the ceremony was supposed to start a cop showed up. Good thing our friend Travis is also a policeman, so he fixed whatever the issue was.

Scotty and Daren. We were trying to remember the last time we saw him, and I think it was at our own wedding!

The whole wedding party: Emma (Jo's daughter), the lovely bride Jo, the officiant, Dave the groom, and Deuce, the best man. 

So happy that Dave finally found the woman of his dreams.

The reception was in an old schoolhouse in the hills overlooking the Aspen Valley.

The next day the whole crew went hiking or biking around Aspen. Annie and her little cutie Ruke.

Annie found a sweet house for us to all hang out in. Travis, Christi, and Hazel. Christi is a great photographer, I'm sure her pictures of the weekend are much better than mine!

Headed home. We are so happy we went even though it was a crazy weekend of traveling!
