We have a front door!

Here it is close-up. The door will be painted red like in the original house, but it will remain wood until the house is almost finished. Someone told me that in Europe a red door signifies that the mortgage on the house has been paid off. For us? Not so much.

The fireplace. When it's finished it won't just be for storing a microwave and cheez-its.

The back of the house with the big windows in our bedroom and the french door.

Scott showing me how he'll put wood in the fireplace.

The front door from the inside. On the right side of this picture is a closet, on the left side there'll be a half wall into the living room.

The shower in the guest bathroom. In the master bathroom there'll be tile.
