They say driving in India takes three things: Good brakes, good horn, good luck. We are so happy we have Monu to drive us around! We also have a local guide in each town.
I tried Indian wine at dinner last night. It's really bad. Apparently 'when in India', still drink Italian wine.
The food is really good, but often too spicy for me. Scott loves it. The Hindu religion worships cows, so the only meat on the menu is chicken and mutton. There's quite a few vegetarian options which I like. We had our best meal yesterday at a random restaurant on the way to Jodphur-Potatoes in a tomato curry. Spiced but not spicy. It was delicious.
It's hot, we pretty much sweat all day long. The high today will be 90 and since it's the end of the monsoons it's humid.
These lovely ladies asked me to join in their garden party. I was a bit underdressed.

Scotty enjoying a samosa-our guide said that this place is very popular, it's the Indian McDonalds. Not sure why he has a grump face, it was delicious.
This sign was at the temple we visited yesterday.
He lets me dress him up sometimes.

So fun! Ask your guide if you can have pav bhaji somewhere. Vegetarian and delish.
The colors at the garden party are beautiful!
