From there we headed to a sacred river where we watched a cremation ceremony. It was a bit overwhelming to watch people grieve and prepare to have their loved ones cremated. I didn't take pictures but there were people being cremated while we were there. In the first photo you can see black ashes towards the bottom of the picture from a recent cremation.
Next stop-the Himalayas!
